The show was cancelled a few weeks later but it was a pivotal moment in her life. Ever since her experience with that show, she became fascinated with broadcast journalism.

In the summer of 2008, Angela had the opportunity to intern with Clear Channel Communications in Miami. During the course of her internship, she produced voice-overs, assisted in promotions and created proposals for station events. During the spring of the following year, Angela interned with Accuweather, Inc. There, she wrote, translated, and edited scripts for weather segments.
Throughout college, Angela produced newscasts and packages, shot footage, completed linear editing, and used Final Cut Pro and ProTools. She was part of Centre County Report for the Spring 2011 semester. There, she had the opportunity to employ her journalistic instincts by researching, shooting and writing packages. She also utilized her bilingual capabilities by helping develop the first ever Centre County Report en Español, in which she reported, anchored and produced.
